Meet Our Pros
Grace Ellery
My name is Grace Ellery and I am thrilled to be back for another season at FFTC as the Club Pro. I just finished my first year in the Kinesiology program at Guelph-Humber University and I am so glad to be home for the summer. I am a sports enthusiast, growing up I played every sport that I could pack into my schedule (baseball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, hockey, rugby, basketball). I played Inferno Soccer on a first-place division team, I also played Lindsay Lynx hockey, winning provincial gold and bronze but realized that tennis is my ultimate love. I have been taking tennis lessons since I was 5 years old, I was in the high-performance program in Newmarket, Ontario under the coaching leadership of Brian Draxl and Shane Hickson. I am a certified instructor with Tennis Canada. I am passionate about playing tennis, but I am most passionate about teaching tennis to members of my community. I believe that learning good technique, positioning and footwork establishes a solid foundation to play the game. I want others to experience how amazing the game of tennis is. I am extremely honoured to have the privilege of coaching the Fenelon Falls Secondary School tennis team. This summer I will be providing private, semi-private and group lessons. I will be running various adult clinics which will be posted on the FFTC website, and I will also be running summer camps for kids aged 7-13 beginning July 2nd 1-3 pm happening all summer long. Camps are based on the Tennis Canada Learn to Play Program and they are a great, inexpensive way to introduce kids to the game.

Lisa Tooley
Growing up in Toronto, I was a ranked junior tennis player at both the provincial and national levels. Throughout my university years, I was a tennis instructor for the Ontario Tennis Association and club professional at various tennis clubs in eastern Canada. Since then, I have continued to coach and play competitive tennis at the club level, in the Intercounty & Toronto Ladies Tennis Leagues and, when time permits, in the Ontario Senior Provincials and Canadian Senior Nationals. When I’m not in Fenelon, I am coaching tennis at Toronto Tennis City.
I am thrilled to be returning to Fenelon this summer and look forward to working with all the passionate tennis players, both new and returning, at FFTC.
