Grace Ellery
My name is Grace Ellery and I am thrilled to be back for another season at FFTC as the Club Pro. I just finished my second year in the Kinesiology program at Guelph-Humber University and I am so glad to be home for the summer. I am a sports enthusiast, growing up I played every sport that I could pack into my schedule (baseball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, hockey, rugby, basketball). I played Inferno Soccer on a first-place division team, I also played Lindsay Lynx hockey, winning provincial gold and bronze but realized that tennis is my ultimate love. I have been taking tennis lessons since I was 5 years old. I was in the high-performance program in Newmarket, Ontario under the coaching leadership of Brian Draxl and Shane Hickson. I am a certified instructor with Tennis Canada and am passionate about playing tennis, but I am most passionate about teaching tennis to members of my community. I believe that learning good technique, positioning and footwork establishes a solid foundation to play the game. I am extremely honoured to have the privilege of coaching the Fenelon Falls Secondary School tennis team and last year had two players qualify and compete at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFFSA) Championships. This summer I will be providing private, semi-private and group lessons. I will be teaching various adult clinics including the Wednesday evening Beginner/Intermediate Clinic and I will also be running summer camps for kids aged 7-13 beginning July 7th from 1-3 pm, happening all summer long. The camps are based on the Tennis Canada Learn to Play Program and are a great way to introduce kids to the game of tennis.
Hourly Rate:
Private: $40
Semi-Private (2 players): $25/person
Group (3+ players): $20/person

Lisa Tooley
During the winter months, I serve as the Director of Member Services and coach at Toronto Tennis City, where I help players of all levels enhance their skills and enjoy the game. I am thrilled to be returning to FFTC this summer and look forward to working with both new and returning players throughout the season.

I offer private and semi-private lessons, as well as group clinics, with weekly sign-ups available from June through August. Below are some of the clinics offered:
Doubles Drills & Skills 2.0-3.0 & 3.5+: Sharpen your skills and elevate your game. This clinic offers a variety of engaging drills designed to improve stroke mechanics, consistency, and match play. Each session targets different areas of your game for well-rounded improvement. Cost: $25
Doubles Clinics – 2.0-3.0 & 3.5+: Elevate your doubles game by learning positioning, communication, shot selection, and tactics. Whether you're new to doubles or looking to sharpen your skills, these clinics focus on the keys to effective team play. Cost: $25
Live Ball – 2.0-3.0 & 3.5+: Experience the thrill of fast-paced, competitive play. In this dynamic doubles-style clinic, pairs compete to hold the “champion” side. Expect a high-energy environment, continuous action, and plenty of fun. Cost: $20
Strokes Clinic – All Levels: Master the fundamentals of key tennis strokes. Each session focuses on a specific stroke—forehand, backhand, serve, or volleys—with detailed instruction and personalized feedback to help you improve technique and confidence. Cost: $20
